caring for orphans - promoting adoption

Even if my father and mother abandon me,
the Lord will hold me close.
Ps 27:10

Partnering with Global Orphan Project for Orphan Care

AIDS, Disease, Poverty, Natural disaster, War, Sextrade, etc. 143,000,000 orphaned children wither in the shadows of these horrors, sentenced to death. Inaction means more orphans, more lost ground; more death.

The Nebraska Global Orphan Project has decided the most efficient way to care for the orphans who will never be adopted is to partner with an organization, Global Orphan Project in Kansas City, (formerly C3) to most effectively use donations for the care of these children.

The Global Orphan Project's goal is to follow God's mandate and call to catalyze action to transform the lives of orphans now and for eternity. They do so by strategically planting children's homes within existing churches/community hubs. This results in physical, emotional, educational and spiritual transformation of orphans
around the world.

After the Hurricanes!
Hurricanes destroyed the northern part of Haiti in September 2008.  Literally thousands of orphans hiding out were exposed.  Through The Nebraska Global Orphan Project (formerly One Cause Lincoln) many people in Lincoln have stepped forward to build homes for 160 of these children in Gonaives, Haiti.  Help with ongoing support is still needed.
