caring for orphans - promoting adoption

 help a child in haiti

come to our meetings

Would you like to get involved in caring for orphans?

Giving is important and will always be a big part of orphan care. But we also could use your help in many other ways. We are meeting on a regular basis with people who want to get involved in additional ways.

It is a great time of updating you on what is currently happening with our contacts in Haiti, as well as brainstorming and sharing ideas about how we can be most effective in caring for the 250 orphans in Haiti that we have committed to care for.

The meetings are held the “Second Saturday” of each month at Cornhusker Bank. (63rd and Hwy 2 close to Lowe’s). Everyone is invited to come at 10AM, when we give a brief overview of what we have seen in Haiti and what our commitment is in caring for 250 children.
We will also
update you with the most recent information we have from our Haiti contacts and also discuss ongoing efforts to care for them. It is a great time of planning and sharing ideas with one another and a great motivator to spur one another on.

Just send us an E-mail at
theNebraskagoproject@gmail.com if you plan to come. Everyone is welcome! Please join us for any "Second Saturday".

sponsor a fundraiser

Consider planning and implementing a fundraiser to support orphans in Haiti.  Gather family and friends, organizations, fraternities or sororities to help.
Fundraising possibilities are endless.  Plan one that matches your time, talents, and personality.  Proceeds will benefit the ongoing support of providing shelter and support for 250 orphans in Gonaives, Haiti.  We would love to talk with you about this, so please email your contact information (
here).
